Nature Areas, Hiking, & so much more...

We have a lot to offer on our 42 acres of wooded property!

  • Nature Trails - the nature trails are open year round for public use. To obtain permission from Camp One Way to use the nature trails, simply call or email in advance and we will verify availablilty and provide registration.
  • Challenge Course - In 2009 we started construction of the Challenge Course with four team building initiatives and two "slack lines". This Year we're adding even more exciting challenges. Spending time on the Challenge Course is a great way to spend time with your group in nature while building team skills, values, and friendships.
  • Frisbee Golf - Enjoy a walk in the woods while playing some "Frisbee Golf". You start off at a tee just like regular golf, only instead of hitting a ball you're throwing a frisbee. The fewer throws it takes you to get to the "hole" the better your score.
  • Cross Bonfire Pit - Our remote bonfire area, next to the pavillion overlooking the meadow is an ideal place for your group to gather and finish the day's activities with music, campfire games, or devotions. Named for the cross that overlooks the meadow, this is a peaceful setting for group activities or personal reflection.
  • Prayer Walk - the prayer walk contains designated stations for reflection and prayer. Click HERE to view the current materials for prayer and reflection, or create your own.
  • Prairie Restoration - Camp One Way is partnering with local environmental groups and colleges to help restore a portion of the 42 acres to prairie. The unique mix of wooded areas, a meadow and creeks make this a prime property for a natural prairie. Click HERE to see photos from some of our recent steps in this process. Click HERE to find out more about this project. Please contact Camp One Way if you would like to partner in the effort.
  • Plan a Work Day - There is never a shortage of work to be done in developing and maintaining the camping area and nature trails. Work can involve tree and brush clearing, planting, and general work to help maintain the 42 acres. Contact Camp One Way to plan a family or group work day.
